2021 WABL Fixtures Released

The Western Australian Basketball League (WABL) is pleased to announce the release of the fixtures for the 2021 WABL Season. These can be viewed on the WABL website or via the GameDay app.

The regular season is set to get underway with Round 1 on Sunday 18 April, with this year again seeing 13 Associations competing across 15 venues with 317 teams amongst 33 Divisions. After a reduced season length in 2020, the 2021 season will return to 18 rounds.

This year will see two WABL Bye weekends, the first being the ANZAC Day long weekend and the second taking place midway through the season on the weekend of 11 July in between Rounds 11 and 12.

Finals will commence on Sunday 5 September and take place over three weekends.

WABL Operations Manager Brent Dawkins is looking forward to another amazing junior representative basketball season across all divisions in the WABL competition:

“The number of athletes playing basketball in this state has exploded over the past 24 months and hence making a WABL side in any age group is an honour and fantastic effort that each player should be proud of.”
