The conclusion of the WABL Championship Men’s and Women’s seasons will take place on Sunday 14 August at Bendat Basketball Centre with Grand Final day.

Yesterday saw the minor premiers from both competitions reach the Grand Final in what was a big day of Semi Finals action.

In the men’s competition, the third-seeded Perth Redbacks defeated the second-seeded East Perth Eagles, while the first-seeded Cockburn Cougars defeated the fourth-seeded Perry Lakes Hawks.

In the women’s competition, the Perry Lakes Hawks and Willetton Tigers Blue – who both went 11–2 in the regular season – will meet in the Grand Final after defeating the Rockingham Flames and Joondalup Wolves respectively in their Semi Finals.
