Introducing the 2020 Smarter than Smoking BWA State Titles

On the final weekend of the Basketball WA Calendar for 2020, the State Titles will see each of our Championship Divisions battle it out at Bendat Basketball Centre in Floreat between Friday 18 December and Sunday 20 December. The fixtures are now live via the WABL website or by downloading the court plan available below.

The best of the best will be on display in a new initiative introduced by Basketball WA this year to bring a level of prestige and showcase for the top teams in our state by hosting a dedicated weekend for the Championship Divisions.

Each of our 12 ‘Metro’ WABL Associations were eligible to enter one team per Championship Division – Under 11s through to Under 19s. With 11 of the 12 Associations entering as many of the ten divisions as possible, three of WA’s Country Regions will also be represented in cooperation with Basketball WA’s Regional Development Officers and programs.

The Mid West, South West, and Great Southern will all have teams in a number of Championship Divisions in what is an exciting new addition and concept.

Basketball WA in partnership with The West Australian will be LIVE streaming all State Titles games on Court 1 on the Saturday and Sunday, with a number of these games to include dedicated commentary.
